Is the irrigation system not working well?
LET'S CORRECT IT TOGETHER

9 tips to bring life back to your irrigation system... and your garden!

THIRD Council
Pop-Up 570Z PRX with check valve
Problem
  • The system pressure is high and the nozzles atomize the water with the consequence that the atomized water is easily moved by the wind outside the range of action of the sprinkler, creating water waste and non-homogeneous precipitation.
  • The irrigation lines are very long and this means that the sprinklers at the beginning of the line have a lot of pressure and atomize the water while the sprinklers at the end of the line have little pressure.
  • Some areas of the garden are on a slope and after each irrigation cycle, due to this slope, the downstream nozzles, although closed, continue to lose water due to the emptying of the pipes.
The pipes can contain tens or hundreds of liters of water, depending on their diameter, which are emptied from the downstream sprinklers, creating swamps.
This leads to a significant waste of water because with each new irrigation cycle the system must refill with water and causes problems for the lawn due to stuck water which is a source of fungal diseases.
  • Due to lack of maintenance over time, the sprinkler towers do not close perfectly and tend to remain raised.
When mowing the lawn the nozzles are cut or damaged and consequently when the system irrigates the water all comes out of the broken sprinklers creating flooding.
Due to the spill, the other sprinklers on the same line do not rise and do not irrigate.
Solution and advantages
  • The PRX series Pop-Ups are equipped with a pressure regulator which maintains a constant output pressure of 2 bar which is optimal for the operation of the nozzles.
This prevents water misting from occurring.
Furthermore, in long lines they maintain constant pressure from the first to the last sprinkler, avoiding problems of nebulization at the beginning of the line and lack of pressure at the end of the line.
  • They are equipped with a check valve capable of withstanding a height difference of 3 meters which prevents the sprinklers positioned in the lowest points from emptying the system at the end of the irrigation cycle.
  • Prevent geysers and anomalous spills due to nozzles that are severed, damaged or removed by vandals.
    The device called
Flooding is avoided when a nozzle breaks and furthermore the sprinklers on the same line continue to function normally.
  • They minimize maintenance thanks to the turret self-washing system.
They reduce the possibility that the sprinkler turret does not fit perfectly and remains raised due to dirt.
Your lawn is important... and so is our water!

A perfect lawn fundamentally depends on a perfect irrigation system.
Therefore, perfecting your irrigation system allows you to get the lawn you have always wanted.

Furthermore, water is a limited natural resource.
Learning to use this resource intelligently is becoming increasingly important.
The RI IRRIGO project saves you 80% of water.
CORRECT YOUR SYSTEM.
