Rinnovaprato - 20 kg lawn seeds
For the regeneration of ornamental and sports areas.
The Rinnovaprato seeds from the Belprato line by Bottos are composed entirely of ryegrass and allow the regeneration of ornamental and sports areas.
They allow you to regenerate all mixtures of Poa Pratense and ryegrass with the light color typical of sports fields.
These seeds are perfect for autumn overseeding in macrothermal areas without any problem with vegetative growth at the end of spring.
Being composed entirely of ryegrass, the shade tolerance of these seeds is average and therefore any reseeding in these environments does not provide long-lasting results.
At full maturity the lawn will have a dense and uniform appearance.
Rinnovaprato seeds are tolerant to the fungal diseases of Mal Bianco, Filo Rosso, Dollar Spot, Rust and Microdochium nivale.
The 20 kilogram bag allows you to sow up to approximately 700 square meters of surface area.
Germination occurs 3-10 days after sowing. It can be sown from February to November.

Ground | Of any type with preference for loose, draining and deep substrates. |
Sowing period | From February to November. Germination times from 3 days to 10 days depending on the soil temperature (soil temperature above 7°C). |
Recommended dosage | 30-35 g/m2, but also 80-100 g/m2 in technical overseeding. The maximum doses are recommended in case of reseeding with high temperatures and/or imperfect tillage of the seedbed. |
Cut | Perform the first cut when the grass reaches 8-10 cm. During annual management, in shaded conditions, do not go below 6 cm. If possible, given the type of use, perform more than 4 cuts per year. |
Nutrition | phosphate fertilization at sowing and then plan 4-6 fertilizations per year with at least 30 units of nitrogen m2/year to rise to 40 units of nitrogen m2/year in the case of sports greenery. During maintenance, avoid phosphorus-based fertilizers to avoid the possible proliferation of Poa Annua. |
Irrigation | When planting, keep the seedbed constantly moist so as not to stop the germination process. In the summer period, irrigate with 7 mm of water every day. If possible, program 1-2 mm thermal irrigation every day around 11:00 am (syringing) in the months of July and August. |
Phytostimulation | Plan 4 biostimulant treatments between July and August to increase tolerance to water stress and avoid reduction of the root system. |
Regeneration | For overseeding in sports it is important to use specific machines capable of burying the seed even in hard ground so that it can be born with regularity and uniformity |
