Olimpia - 20 kg lawn seeds
Olimpia seeds from the Zolla Verde line by Bottos are a mixture of fescue rubra, perennial lolium and poa pratensis, for the creation of turf for ornamental and recreational areas.
Olimpia seeds from Bottos allow you to create a bright green turf with a fine texture, ideal for private gardens with mixed shade and sun surfaces in cool, continental areas.
When fully ripe, this product is very dense, fine and uniform.
Olimpia seeds are tolerant to the fungal diseases of Mal Bianco, Filo Rosso, Dollar Spot and Microdochium nivale.
The 20 kilogram bag allows you to sow up to approximately 700 square meters of surface area.
Germination occurs 4-10 days after sowing. It can be sown from February to the end of November.

Ground | Deep, draining, medium texture. |
Sowing period | From February to November (not July). Germination can take from 4 to 10 days in direct correlation with soil temperatures (soil temperature required above 8°C). |
Recommended dosage | 30-35 g/m2. The maximum doses are recommended in case of overseeding with high temperatures and/or imperfect tillage of the seedbed. |
Cut | Perform the first cut when the grass reaches 8-10 cm. During annual management in shaded areas do not go below 6 cm, while in mixed sun/shade areas keep to 4 cm. Never remove more than 30% of the vegetation present. |
Nutrition | Phosphate fertilization at sowing. Subsequently, in the shade, opt for a 1:1.5 N/K ratio with approximately 20-25 nitrogen units m²/year. In sunny/shaded situations, do not exceed 25-30 nitrogen units m²/year. |
Irrigation | When planting, keep the seedbed constantly moist so as not to stop the germination process. In the summer period, irrigate with 6 mm/day of water and increase to 10 mm/day in full shade from deciduous trees. |
Phytostimulation | Plan 4 biostimulant treatments between July and August to increase tolerance to water stress and avoid reduction of the root system. |
Regeneration | Use the same mixture for the usual regeneration at the end of summer and/or at the end of winter, carrying out a light verticut with the removal of the felt and subsequent distribution of approximately 40-45 g/m² of Olimpia (or even Venere at the same dosages) to thicken the vegetation. The traditional phosphate-based starter fertilization (with materials with programmed release and/or slow release nitrogenous forms) following overseeding is of fundamental importance for the perfect germination of the seeds. |
