Venere - 20 kg lawn seeds
For the regeneration of ornamental and sports areas.
The Venere seeds from the Zolla Verde line by Bottos are a mixture of ryegrass and Pratense grass, for the regeneration of turf for sports or recreational areas.
This mixture is made up of a mix of seeds of American and European origin resistant to trampling, wear and tear. Self-regenerating mixture thanks to the presence of Poa pratensis with robust rhizomes.
Bottos ' Venus seeds allow you to create a bright green turf with a dense, fine and uniform texture, ideal for sports or recreational areas in full sun, showing, however, lower performance in shaded areas.
Venere seeds are tolerant to the fungal diseases of Mal Bianco, Filo Rosso, Dollar Spot and Microdochium nivale.
The 5 kilogram bag allows you to sow up to approximately 250 square meters of surface area.
Germination occurs 4-10 days after sowing. It can be sown from February to November.

Ground | Tending towards loose, draining and deep. |
Sowing period | From February to November. Germination can take from 4 to 10 days in direct correlation with soil temperatures (soil temperature required above 8°C). |
Recommended dosage | 30-40 g/m2. The maximum doses are recommended in case of overseeding with high temperatures and/or imperfect tillage of the seedbed. |
Cut | Following overseeding, make the first cut when the grass reaches 6-8 cm and never remove more than 30% with each cut. After 40 days from reseeding, if possible, maintain the mowing frequency at 2 times/week. |
Nutrition | Phosphate fertilization at sowing and then planning of 4-6 fertilizations per year with at least 30 units of nitrogen m²/year to rise up to 40 units of nitrogen m²/year in the case of sports greenery. During routine maintenance, limit the use of phosphorus-based fertilizers to avoid the possible proliferation of Poa Annua. |
Irrigation | When planting, keep the seedbed constantly moist so as not to stop the germination process. In the summer period, irrigate with 10 mm of water every 2 days. If possible, schedule a 1-2 mm thermal irrigation every day around 11:00 am (syringing) during the months of July and August. |
Phytostimulation | Plan 4 biostimulant treatments between July and August to increase tolerance to water stress and avoid reduction of the root system. |
Regeneration | For overseeding in sports it is important to use specific machines capable of burying the seed even in hard ground so that it can be born with regularity and uniformity. Use Venere for regenerations in spring and/or at the end of August, carrying out a light verticut with the removal of the felt and subsequent distribution of approximately 30-40 g/m² of mixture. |
