The Pedrollo 10 FC capacitor is an original spare part intended for the single-phase motors of numerous Pedrollo electric pumps.
It helps create the electrical phase shift necessary for starting and correct operation of the engine.
The 450 volt rating represents the capacitor's rated operating voltage, not the pump's supply voltage. This component is typically used on single-phase motors powered by 230 volts.
The capacitor is subject to deterioration. Replacing it with an original spare part eliminates the need to replace the entire electric pump.
A faulty or low-capacity capacitor can cause the pump to struggle or fail to start, the motor to hum without starting, reduced torque, and overheating.
