The Pedrollo FAN-100R fan is recommended for cooling the motor of Pedrollo electric pumps.
The fan has a diameter of 148 mm and a height of 33 mm. The crankshaft diameter is 28 mm.
The FAN-100R fan rotates with the shaft and generates the airflow needed to cool the engine during operation.
During operation, the motor generates heat, mainly due to electrical losses in the windings and mechanical losses.
The FAN-100R directly exploits the rotation of the shaft. Its blades move the ambient air and produce a forced flow of cooling around the motor.
The air is guided by the fan cover and circulated over the outer surface of the engine. This increases the heat exchange between the engine and the ambient air.
The FAN-100R is used to maintain the engine temperature within suitable operating conditions.
It is mounted on the rear shaft of the electric motor.
It's important to keep the fan in top condition. If it's broken, cracked, warped, or blocked, airflow will decrease, which could increase engine temperatures.
Made of plastic material, Pedrollo has created a lightweight fan, with low rotational inertia, resistant to corrosion and easily manufactured with blades and hub in a single element.
