The Pedrollo AR-14S mechanical seal stands out for its Viton elastomer construction and AISI 316L stainless steel spring.
It is mainly used in small and medium-sized Pedrollo surface electric pumps.
Suitable for electric pumps with a 14 mm crankshaft.
The AR-14S mechanical seal is mainly used in surface centrifuges with open impeller, made of stainless steel.
The mechanical seal's job is to keep the hydraulic part separate from the electrical part. It prevents water from reaching the bearings and motor.
The AR-14S seal allows shaft rotation without the use of a rigid seal.
The seal consists of two parts: a rotating one and a fixed one. Made of ceramic, graphite, VITON, and AISI 316L stainless steel.
It guarantees greater resistance to corrosion by oils and hydrocarbons.
The seal inside the electric pump is one of the most stressed parts and is therefore subject to wear. It's important to replace it when water is found in the motor.
