The Pedrollo FH-43 NU mechanical seal is mainly used in large Pedrollo surface electric pumps.
Suitable for electric pumps with a 43 mm crankshaft.
The FH-43 NU mechanical seal is mainly used on EN 733 standardized bare shaft centrifugal electric pumps of the FG series.
The mechanical seal's job is to keep the hydraulic part separate from the electrical part. It prevents water from reaching the bearings and motor.
The FH-43 NU seal allows shaft rotation without using a rigid seal.
The seal consists of two parts: a rotating one and a fixed one. Made of graphite, ceramic, NBR, and AISI 316L stainless steel.
The FH-43 NU features standardized installation dimensions.
The seal inside the electric pump is one of the most stressed parts and is therefore subject to wear. It's important to replace it when water is found in the motor.
