The Gardena 5307-20 spool is equipped with cutting line, to be inserted directly into the appropriate trimmer group.
Original spare part for the EasyCut 400, ComfortCut 450 and PowerCut 500 turbo trimmers.
The 5307-20 coil essentially performs three functions.
The first is to contain the line reserve in an orderly fashion inside the trimmer head.
The second is to allow the wire to be released progressively as the exposed part wears during the cut.
The third is to ensure that the line is wound and positioned correctly for the system provided by the trimmer.
The 5307-20 spool is 6 meters long. During use, only the length needed for cutting comes out; when the outer end wears out, the new length required for cutting comes out.
The diameter is 1.6 mm. The wire diameter affects mass, resistance, rotational behavior, and the load required by the motor, so it's important not to replace the cable with one with a smaller or larger diameter.
