The TORO Irrigazione 570CV Check Valve is compatible with TORO Irrigazione 570Z Series Spray Heads.
It primarily prevents water from leaking from the sprinklers located lower down once irrigation has finished. It can compensate for a maximum height difference of approximately 2.1 meters.
The 570CV valve is recommended when sprinklers in the same area are at different heights; when puddles form around lower sprinklers; when soil is washed away near the sprinkler heads; or when the system starts up with a bang and a noise when the pipes empty; and when you want to keep the line full between irrigations.
This valve does not regulate pressure, does not change the nozzle throw, does not replace solenoid valves, does not resolve leaks in the system or solenoid valves and is not a backflow preventer.
It is therefore an internal accessory for LPS sprinklers, not a general valve to be installed on the pipe and is not used to regulate pressure, flow rate or irrigation radius.
