The Hansen CV40 check valve is recommended for installations in residential and agricultural irrigation systems, pumping systems and drinking water networks.
It controls and allows the water to flow in only one direction, blocking backflow and preventing the pipes from emptying.
Installing the CV40 valve is essential for protecting wells and pumps, preventing drainage, and ensuring greater hygiene safety.
Prevent water from flowing back into the suction pump when it shuts off by keeping the suction hose filled with water at all times.
If the lawn has slopes, it prevents all the water left in the pipes from draining away from the sprinklers when the system is turned off.
It prevents dirty water from the soil or fertilizers from flowing back into the domestic water supply if there is a drop in mains pressure.
The CV40 valve has an internal stainless steel spring that ensures immediate and hermetic closure even at minimal pressures. It supports pressures up to 16 bar .
The connection is 1 1/4 inch, DN40, the standard size for common lines.
The CV40 valve is made of synthetic resin and reinforced with fiberglass. Completely immune to rust, marine corrosion, galvanic currents, and electrolysis.
