MD-PROT230 - Power surge protection module

The MD-PROT230 device is designed to guarantee protection against overvoltages and low voltages that can cause damage to the equipment, sometimes it happens that the electrical network is unstable, with voltage surges that can cause serious damage to electrical and electronic equipment; such as inverters, electric pumps, electrical panels or other equipment.

To minimize the risk of damaging the electronic equipment, the MD-PROT230 module can be installed upstream of the user to be protected. The module contains a varistor and a gas arrester for surge protection. Furthermore, the module continuously monitors the input voltage and automatically disconnects the load if the voltage is not within the set tolerance range, which can be set by the user in the values: ± 10% - ± 15% - ± 20%, once the input voltage is within the tolerance range, the MD-PROT230 module waits 15 seconds before automatically reconnecting the load.
