Ideal for frequent use, the CS 42STE is the industry's first 42cc gasoline-powered chainsaw with a 3-step start. Unload / flip the switch / pull the starter cord. With a power output of 1.5 kilowatts, it is compatible with 14", 16", and 18" guide bars. The CS 42STE features a tool-free chain tensioner and a multi-tool. Weighing just 4.9 kilograms, this gasoline-powered chainsaw also features an advanced purge fuel injection system, CCS, Soft Start and Oxy Power functions, a soft grip and an anti-vibration system.
CCS Long-Life Air Filter System
With the innovative CCS air filtration system, the chainsaw can be used longer with less air filter maintenance. Thanks to centrifugal cleaning, the intake air is pre-cleaned and larger particles are expelled before reaching the main air filter.
Soft start
Makes starting your McCulloch product easier by reducing starter cord resistance by up to 40%.
Combined commands
All start and stop controls are integrated into one, allowing for easier starting and reducing the risk of engine flooding.
