The HR531GX flail mower fully reflects all the Japanese technique in addition to the proverbial reliability and maneuverability. The cutting apparatus of the Orec flail mowers is composed of a Y-flail rotor.

Its 32 flail blades shred brushwood, brambles, and stalks, leaving the ground virtually clear. On slippery, uneven surfaces or in tall grass, the Orec flail mowers' claw-type wheels ensure a secure grip, and with the differential always engaged, the operator can confidently tackle any type of job.

Depending on the model, flail mowers can be adjusted both laterally and in height using levers on the handlebars, allowing the operator to choose the best working position while mowing.
