The Rain Bird FG 100 flow sensor protects your system from leaks and blockages.
It is designed for residential and small commercial applications.
The FG 100 sensor allows the system to recognize anomalous variations in flow rate, useful for identifying possible leaks or breakages in pipes and sprinklers.
Measurement is performed using a vane impeller with a ceramic shaft. The FG100 is therefore a mechanical impeller sensor.
The recommended flow rate range is approximately 11.4 to 94.6 litres per minute, equivalent to approximately 0.68 to 5.68 cubic metres per hour.
The connection is 1 inch.
The FG 100 is very compact, making installation easy as it doesn't require straight pipe before or after the sensor, allowing for simple installation even inside the well. It installs easily with standard 18 gauge irrigation wire.
The controller's Flo-Watch feature learns flow rates and monitors for low or high flow conditions caused by faulty pipes or broken sprinklers to save water, protect plants and prevent flooding.
The FG 100 sensor is designed to withstand high pressure bursts and should not be removed during the winter months.
The FG100 pairs with the ESP-ME3 controller. You can check system status from anywhere with the Rain Bird mobile app, available for iPhone and Android, when you add the LNK2 module.
