The Rain Bird UFS150BSP flow sensor protects your system from leaks and blockages and features ultrasonic technology.
Recommended for commercial irrigation systems where both low and high flow rates need to be measured.
It uses ultrasonic waves and contains no impellers or other moving parts. The absence of impellers eliminates component wear and improves measurement reliability.
The UFS150BSP sensor has two transducers that send and receive signals through the water, and the difference between the transit time in the direction of flow and that in the opposite direction allows the water velocity to be calculated. The sensor then produces a pulsed electrical signal proportional to the flow rate.
The UFS150BSP's flow rate is approximately 1.9 to 416 liters per minute, equivalent to approximately 0.114 to 24.96 cubic meters per hour.
The stated operating pressure is 200 psi, approximately 13.8 bar , while the permitted water temperature ranges from 0 to approximately 65 centigrade.
Its compact size makes installation easy. Straight pipes aren't necessary, as it can easily be positioned even after a bend in the same well as the solenoid valves.
The Flo Watch feature allows the UFS150BSP sensor to detect leaks and automatically quarantine and shut down the problem area while continuing to water the other zones.
The UFS150BSP sensor is compatible with the ESP-ME3, ESP-LXMEF, ESP-LXME2 PRO, ESP-LXD and ESP-LXIVM controllers.
