The ESPBAT-BT4 pit control unit from the ESPBAT-BT series is designed to manage irrigation in places without electricity.
It manages four irrigation zones.
The ESPBAT-BT4 stands out for its extremely long battery life and simplified wireless programming.
The battery life can last up to 5 years, the batteries are 4 AA alkaline type.
Programming is conveniently done via the Rain Bird 2.0 app for Android and iOS, avoiding the need to open a damp, muddy sump.
The ESPBAT-BT4 has 4 irrigation programs A, B, C and D for 8 daily starts per program.
It allows you to vary watering times from 0% to 200% month by month up to a year in advance, adapting the water to the heat of summer or the cool of autumn.
The feature that Rain Bird calls Automatic Anti-Calcium preserves the life of the valves, as the controller activates each unused valve for 1 second every 24 hours, avoiding mechanical blockage due to limescale.
Another interesting feature is geolocation and mapping, which allows you to record the position of the control unit, useful when grass grows and hides the wells.
The ESPBAT-BT4 is IP68 certified. Compatible with Rain Bird and Hunter 9-volt solenoid valves.
