IRON 65 by Bottos is a formula based on 6% DTPA Chelated Iron with high foliar assimilability and a broad spectrum of stability at water pH from 4 to 9.
This product is to be used only through the leaves and not through the roots. DTPA is the only form of chelate suitable for foliar absorption thanks to its ability to penetrate inside the leaves making Fe available in a few hours.
The IRON 65 is suitable for year-round use on turf even with temperatures below 10 °C or above 25 °C. The effect of IRON 65 lasts for approximately 20-25 days from application and it is recommended to use it every 40-60 days for those lawns irrigated with calcareous water which cause the classic yellowing and discoloration of the coats due to the iron immobilization in the soil.
