The Smeraldo seeds from the Zolla Verde line by Bottos are a mixture of ryegrass and meadow grass, for the creation of lawns for sports and recreational areas.
Product consisting of a mix of American cultivars, characterised by strong resistance to biotic and abiotic stress.
Bottos ' Smeraldo seeds allow you to create a bright green lawn with a fine texture, ideal for areas in full sun in continental climates that suffer from strong exposure to shade.
These seeds are tolerant to the fungal diseases of White Spot, Red Thread, Dollar Spot and Microdochium nivale.
The 20-kilogram bag allows you to sow up to approximately 800 square meters of surface.
Germination occurs 4-10 days after sowing. It can be sown from February to November.

| Sowing period | From February to November excluding June and July. Germination can take from 4 to 10 days in direct correlation with soil temperatures (soil temperature required above 8°C). |

| Cut | Following overseeding, make the first cut when the grass reaches 6-8 cm and never remove more than 30% with each cut. After 40 days from reseeding, if possible, maintain the mowing frequency at 2 times/week. |

| Regeneration | For overseeding in sports it is important to use specific machines capable of burying the seed even in hard ground so that it can be born with regularity and uniformity. On lawns made of Emerald it is advisable to use the Venere mixture for regeneration in spring and/or at the end of August, carrying out a light verticut with the removal of the thatch and subsequent distribution of approximately 30-40 g/m² of mixture. |
