The Forteprato seeds from the Belprato line by Bottos are a mixture of fescues and ryegrasses, for the creation of lawns for ornamental areas and public places.
A medium-large textured mixture of tufted species of European origin, designed for new extensive sowings and the creation of technical grassing such as embankments or roadside flowerbeds.
Bottos 's Forteprato seeds allow you to create a light-colored, medium-coarse textured lawn, ideal for creating medium-to-good quality rustic gardens and for naturalistic uses in Mediterranean areas, on lowland or coastal plains.
Not suitable for the construction of high-quality gardens.
The mixture, made up of tall fescue that performs well in the heat and ryegrasses that are characterised by their resistance to the cold, allows for continuous grassing throughout the four seasons, with very low maintenance levels and reduced water and fertiliser consumption.
The 20-kilogram bag allows you to sow up to approximately 250 square meters of surface area.
Germination occurs 4-10 days after sowing. It can be sown from February to November.

| Ground | Any type of terrain. |
| Sowing period | From February to November. Germination can take from 4 to 10 days in direct correlation with soil temperatures (soil temperature required above 8°C). |
| Recommended dosage | 40-50 g/m2. The maximum doses are indicated in the case of overseeding with high temperatures and/or imperfect tillage of the seed bed. |
| Cut | Perform the first cut when the grass reaches 8-10 cm. During annual management, in shaded conditions, do not go below 6 cm. If possible, given the type of use, perform more than 4 cuts per year. |
| Nutrition | Phosphate fertilization at sowing. For maintenance in the shade, opt for a 1:1.5 N/K ratio with approximately 20 units of nitrogen m2/year; in sunny/shaded and/or full sun situations, it is good practice not to exceed 25 nitrogen units m2/year. |
| Irrigation | When planting, keep the seedbed constantly moist so as not to stop the germination process. In the absence of an irrigation system, it is preferable to establish Forteprato in autumn thanks to the help of seasonal rains. |
Period of use:
