Kikuyu seeds from Bottos ' Zolla Verde line are ideal for creating lawns in various environmental contexts, including coastal environments and gardens that face mild winters.
It is a species native to tropical Africa with the botanical name of Pennisetum clandestinum.
Bottos ' Kikuyu seeds are characterized by excellent resistance to heat and major diseases. They spread rapidly thanks to vigorous stolons and rhizomes.
Kikuyu seeds are unique in their shorter dormancy than any other warm-season grass species. In coastal environments with mild winters, these seeds are therefore able to maintain their green color even during the cold months, eliminating the need for the usual autumn overseeding practices typical of warm-season grasslands. Shade tolerance is average.
The 5-kilogram bag allows you to sow up to approximately 500 square meters of seed. It can be sown from April to August.

Azienda veramente seria. Il prodotto è arrivato in brevissimo tempo. Nonostante un problema sorto per colpa del corriere, l'azienda ha prontamente rimediato. Sono rimasto soddisfatto.
