The pre-seeded Sator biomat of natural origin adheres perfectly to the soil like a protective film and adapts to its characteristics, ensuring immediate stopping of surface erosion and excellent vegetation establishment.
The seeds are precisely dosed and distributed, avoiding excess or under-sowing, within a dense mesh that holds them in place and protects them from rain and heavy irrigation, as well as bird and insect attacks, without altering their position during handling, transport, installation, and establishment. Sator also regulates soil temperature, reduces evapotranspiration, keeping it moist, and inhibits weed growth.
Green in color, it integrates with the landscape and immediately provides a pleasant aesthetic effect, before completely biodegrading in 4 or 5 months, once the grass is already developed.
Applied in geotechnics, in reinforced soils beneath geogrids and formwork, Sator also proves to be an unsurpassed retainer of fine particles capable of grassing practically vertical surfaces.
