The Pedrollo FN-20 E mechanical seal is mainly used in medium-sized Pedrollo surface electric pumps.
Suitable for electric pumps with a 20 mm crankshaft.
The FN-20 E mechanical seal is mainly used on single-impeller, twin-impeller and high-flow pumps.
The mechanical seal's job is to keep the hydraulic part separate from the electrical part. It prevents water from reaching the bearings and motor.
The FN-20 E seal allows shaft rotation without the use of a rigid seal.
The seal consists of two parts: a rotating one and a fixed one. Made of graphite, silicon carbide, EPDM, and AISI 316L stainless steel.
Recommended for hot water, ozone and various chemicals.
The seal inside the electric pump is one of the most stressed parts and is therefore subject to wear. It's important to replace it when water is found in the motor.
