The Pedrollo FNC-14 mechanical seal is mainly used in small and medium-sized Pedrollo surface electric pumps.
Suitable for electric pumps with a 14 mm crankshaft.
The FNC-14 mechanical seal is used on IN-LINE centrifugal electric pumps.
The mechanical seal's job is to keep the hydraulic part separate from the electrical part. It prevents water from reaching the bearings and motor.
The FNC-14 seal allows shaft rotation without the use of a rigid seal.
The seal consists of two parts: a rotating one and a fixed one. Made of graphite, silicon carbide, EPDM, and AISI 316L stainless steel.
The seal inside the electric pump is one of the most stressed parts and is therefore subject to wear. It's important to replace it when water is found in the motor.
