The 24-volt power supply 102-4738 from TORO Irrigazione is intended primarily for indoor control units.
The 102-4738 is the replacement transformer for the DDC Indoor and Tempus control units, more specifically the DDC-4, DDC-6 and DDC-8 Indoor.
Its task is to reduce the voltage of the electrical network from 220/230 V AC to 24 V AC, making it suitable for the operation of the programmer and the solenoid valve control system.
The 102-4738 provides 24 volt AC power, typically used in irrigation systems to control solenoid valves.
The transformer is sized to supply a current of up to 0.5 amperes, corresponding to a nominal apparent power of 12 VA.
The plug-in design integrates the transformer into the body connected to the electrical outlet, while the low-voltage cable carries 24 V AC to the control unit. This configuration allows the mains voltage to be kept separate from the low-voltage connection intended for the programmer.
