6003 ZZ-C3 - Ball bearing 17x35x10 mm

The Pedrollo 6003 ZZ-C3 ball bearing is an original spare part for Pedrollo electric pumps.

The bearing supports and guides the rotating shaft of the electric motor, maintaining its proper alignment and allowing it to rotate with very little friction. In an electric pump, this contributes to the proper functioning of the motor, shaft, and impeller assembly.

In the name of the bearing can be divided into 3 parts: 6003, ZZ and C3.

6003 is a deep groove ball bearing in the 62 series. It is particularly suitable for electric motors because it offers low friction, high speed capability, and the ability to support radial loads along with axial loads in both directions. It can accommodate primarily radial loads, but also a component of axial load in both directions.

ZZ means the bearing has metal shields on both sides. It's not waterproof; it has double metal shields.

C3, on the other hand, indicates a greater internal radial clearance than normal. The increased clearance is intentional and serves to compensate for operating conditions in which the actual clearance tends to decrease, for example due to assembly interference and thermal expansion.

The 6003 ZZ-C3 can operate at high speeds and reach temperatures higher than those present at the time of assembly, in fact it can be defined as a high-speed bearing.

Since it is shielded on both sides, it belongs to the family of closed bearings with grease inside. It does not require periodic relubrication.

The outer diameter is 35 millimeters while the inner diameter is 17 millimeters, the width is 10 millimeters.
