The Pedrollo 7DGFD01531K01 card identifies the RS485 expansion and communication electronic card compatible with the STEADYPRES 2.0 and STEADYPRES 4.0.
It does not directly control the motor, but acts as a hardware interface to enable advanced external communication and automation capabilities.
The 7DGFD01531K01 board has 8 connection pins. 2 for the slave jumper, 2 for the RS485 port, 2 for the output relay, and 2 for the input relay.
Essential for configuring cascading groups of up to 3 pumps. Each inverter in the group requires this card to communicate via cable with the other modules and alternate starts or start the second pump in case of high water demand.
Operation is simple: the Master inverter reads the system pressure. If water demand increases and the first pump is unable to maintain constant pressure, the Master communicates via RS485 with the Slave and controls its modulated activation, intelligently dividing the workload.
