The Gardena 4090-20 set consists of 100 black pegs.
The pegs are specially designed to secure the perimeter wire and the guide wire of robotic lawnmowers to the ground.
Compatible for the entire Gardena Sileno range and Husqvarna Automower robots.
The standard density recommended by installation manuals is 1 peg every 70 or 75 centimetres on straight, flat sections.
On bends and corners, the stakes should be placed closer together to better delineate the path. If there are dips or bumps, the wire tends to remain taut in mid-air; in these cases, it's essential to plant a stake at the lowest point to force the cable to the ground.
The 4090-20 pegs are made of hard plastic and are black in colour to blend in with the environment.
