The TORO Irrigazione 118-5983 solenoid is the original replacement for TORO EZ-Flo Plus, TPV and P220 series solenoid valves.
Compatible with EZP-02-54, EZP-03-54, EZP-22-54, EZP-23-54, P220-23-50, P220-23-54, P220-23-56, P220-23-58, TPV100BSP, TPV100MMBSP, TPVF100BSP and TPVF100MMBSP solenoid valves.
Works only with 230 volt power well controllers, not 9 volt battery powered controllers.
The 118-5983 solenoid is encapsulated and watertight. The coil is completely immersed in resin to prevent oxidation and short circuits caused by humidity and standing water in the wells.
It features a key internal piston and spring retention device that facilitates maintenance. During maintenance, cleaning, or manual bleeding, the solenoid can be completely unscrewed from the valve body by hand without the risk of the internal components falling out and getting lost in the mud or grass.
If the solenoid valve in one area of your garden or system does not activate, the first component to check is the solenoid.
