November is a special month of considerable importance for the care of turf. Temperatures decrease substantially, the photoperiod (hours of light) shortens and precipitation increases. All this leads to an arrest, or in any case a decided limitation, of the growth of the grass.
But we must not limit ourselves only to viewing the aesthetic and aerial part of the plants. Indeed, in a decisive way we must be sure that we have expanded and still develop the root system by increasing its biomass and deepening it.
Potassium, especially if combined in the correct form and directly in correlation with the other nutritional elements, is the fundamental element for promoting the process of formation and growth of new roots.
In November it is still possible to sow, but for sowing it is advisable to choose seeds capable of germinating at temperatures between 7-16 °C.
