Problem
The irrigation system waters on pre-set days and at pre-set times, without taking into account the actual water needs of the soil.
The soil may be watered even though it is actually still wet, perhaps due to heavy rainfall in the previous few days, or an excessive irrigation schedule, or because the weather has been milder and has not completely dried out the soil.
Watering already damp soil not only wastes water but is also harmful to the health of the lawn and plants, which find themselves in a constantly humid environment where mold, algae, and pathogenic microorganisms proliferate.
The soil may not be irrigated even though the soil is actually dry, perhaps due to an insufficient irrigation schedule, or because the weather has been warmer than expected and has completely dried out the soil.
If the lawn does not receive water when it needs it, it becomes dry.
Solution and advantages
Huge water savings.
Water only when necessary.
Healthier grass, better root system and more oxygen.
It allows the land to be used as a water reserve, allowing for intelligent use of rainwater.
Your lawn is important...and so is our water!
A perfect lawn depends fundamentally on a perfect irrigation system. Therefore, perfecting your irrigation system allows you to obtain the lawn you have always wanted.
Furthermore, water is a limited natural resource. Learning to use this resource intelligently is becoming increasingly important.
