9 tips to bring life back to your irrigation system... and your garden!
FOURTH Council
T5 - Dynamic sprinkler with check valve
Problem
In hot periods the lawn grows rapidly and if you skip mowing, the height of the grass covers the sprinkler jet, hindering it.
Dynamic sprinklers often do not distribute water evenly. The sprinkler jet is such that it sprays more water at a point away from the sprinkler and less water under the sprinkler itself. This problem forces us to increase the duration of the irrigation cycle in order to adequately water even the points that the water does not reach adequately. The consequence is that in the points most reached by water the soil tends to become excessively soaked.
When the pressure in the system is low the problem of non-homogeneous distribution is more accentuated. The water jet tends to wet in a circle around the sprinkler.
Some areas of the garden are on a slope and after each irrigation cycle, due to this slope, the downstream nozzles, although closed, continue to lose water due to the emptying of the pipes. Depending on their diameter, the pipes can contain tens or hundreds of liters of water which are emptied from the downstream sprinklers, creating swamps. This leads to a considerable waste of water because with each new irrigation cycle the system must refill with water and causes problems for the lawn due to stuck water which is a source of fungal diseases.
Solution and advantages
The T5 series Pop-Ups allow the grass to grow taller thanks to the turret travel being 20% more than average. The T5 is 2.5 centimeters higher than other dynamic sprinklers in the same category.
Thanks to the latest generation nozzles, the T5 sprinkler offers better distribution and significant water savings.
The T5 distributes water evenly even at low pressure.
They are equipped with a check valve capable of withstanding a height difference of 3 meters which prevents the sprinklers positioned in the lowest points from emptying the system at the end of the irrigation cycle.
The installation and adjustment of the turret is easy and within everyone's reach.
The T5 appears robust and reliable.
Your lawn is important... and so is our water!
A perfect lawn fundamentally depends on a perfect irrigation system. Therefore, perfecting your irrigation system allows you to get the lawn you have always wanted.
Furthermore, water is a limited natural resource. Learning to use this resource intelligently is becoming increasingly important.
